A spellchecker for medical bills is such a needed tool, love that it cites the specific line items instead of just waving hands at "errors." One thing I'd want as a user is a running total of how much money you've actually saved after sending each successful appeal, kind of like a savings tracker across all your bills. Would make the value really tangible and keep people motivated to actually submit the letters instead of just generating them.
@glayuranlakuti Really like this, turning "you saved $X" into a visible number is way more motivating than a static appeal letter sitting in a folder. Planning to add a savings tracker once I have appeal outcomes flowing back in (right now it's generate-and-send, no feedback loop yet). @bedirhan19697 That was actually one of my three non-negotiables building this — no insurance login, no data shared with insurers. Wasn't going to build something that asks people to hand over credentials just to check if they got overcharged. honestly the line item citations are kind of a game changer, way better than just getting a vague "something looks off" alert. uploaded a denial letter and the appeal draft was honestly solid enough that i almost forgot i didn't write it.
