This started in a Facebook group. We found a community of heating installers
and what struck us was how frustrated they were with the software they're
supposed to use every day. The same three complaints came up over and over:
the programs are too complicated, you have to download and install them on a
PC, and the learning curve is brutal - there's a real gap between opening the
thing and getting a usable result out of it.
So we built Heatalgo for the people in that group.
What we're launching today: you upload a floor plan and it lays out the
underfloor heating. Rooms come back identified, heating sections generated —
spiral, meander or bifilar — and sized against PN-EN 12831-1. You review it,
correct anything it got wrong by saying what's wrong in plain language, and
commit the version you picked. It never applies anything on its own. And it
runs in a browser.
Being straight about what's underneath, because "AI does your engineering" is
usually a lie: the model reads the drawing. The physics is a deterministic
engine. Rooms it isn't confident about get drawn and flagged rather than
quietly dropped.
