I love hats. I set out to make a custom hat for myself that met some very specific criteria. When I couldn't decide on a patch for the front of the hat, one of my kids said, "You should make the patch interchangeable, and then you don't have to decide". I thought that was interesting, and my maker wheels started turning and it led me down a path.

This could easily be turned into a collectibles-type product, similar to KidRobot. Release "blind" bags of patches and make some more rare than others. I could see this turning into a fad, if done right.
@jadojodo Yes!! The idea is that people only need one hat, but they can build a collection of patches. We plan to offer some rare limited edition patches and thought of the "mystery" patch idea as well. The business model for this was inspired by "Shopkins" which my kids are obsessed with. @joshbarkin I haven't heard of Shopkins, but I would encourage you to check out the Kidrobot site and perhaps order a blind box to get an idea of the possibilities.

@tobiasvogels Thanks so much. 🍕 is actually in the next batch. It almost made launch. Maybe I'll set up a page to upvote emoji patches and help us prioritize rollout of the collection.
