Jokes aside, Hatebook is an anonymous attempt to change Big Blue for the better.

Big Blues mission is to “give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together.”

But in recent months, they’ve been in direct contravention to this purpose. In fact, they’ve contributed to sowing division and discord in the world.

Look at the #StopHateForProfit movement. A well organized and justified boycott, that is trending to become another failed attempt at inspiring change. It’s being shrugged off internally, despite millions of dollars being pulled from the top companies in the world.

Zuck recently told us FB employees he expects boycotting advertisers to “be back on the platform soon enough," and that he won't change policies “because of a threat to a small percent of our revenue".

These people are begging for change, only to be laughed out of Big Blue offices. This company is tunnel-visioned on revenue and profits. And completely ignoring the message and real issue here. They never have, and likely never will, operate the company with any sort of moral compass. We need to help. We need to stop the hate.

And beyond stopping the hate, we need to drive more responsibility and ethics into this mega-company and leadership team. They are hurting the world. Hurting the political landscape. And hurting the tech sector.

And somehow, together, we need to make inspire this change.
Makers, developers, and tech enthusiasts, please help us get the #hatebook conversation started by sharing your stories and relationships with Big Blue.

How have they impacted you? Cut your app access? Throttled API requests? Please help us shine a light on these issues, that is once again, about to be swept under the rug.
