Hi, I’m Ken from Ken the Book Printer. We built this free tool for our clients to make setting up hardcover artwork easier. It also works as a starting point for many other hardcover books.
Enter your book size and page count, then choose your paper and board thickness. The tool gives you a ready-to-use PDF cover template with the front, back, spine, and areas that fold around the cover boards.
Getting these measurements right helps keep your text away from folds and your artwork covering the edges properly. The PDF also includes measurements and photo examples so you can see how the cover fits together.
