Handy Timer: Timers, stopwatch and workouts, started by your voice

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Orhan, a freelance mobile developer from Germany. Handy Timer is a side project I built because every timer I tried failed at the exact moment I needed it: a dumbbell in one hand, screen too sweaty to swipe. So the core idea is simple — you say "Start Timer" or "Timer Start" and it starts. And it stays on your phone. Wake-word detection runs fully on-device, so there's no cloud service, no account and no internet connection involved at any point. Your voice never leaves the device — not becauseI promise it doesn't, but because the app has no way to send it anywhere. What's inside: 🎙 Voice control that actually works offline One command, context-aware: it starts a timer, a stopwatch or a workout plan, and creates a timer if none exists yet. Recognition runs entirely on-device — your voice never leaves the phone. German and English are both understood. ⏱ Timers As many side by side as you want, each named and colour-coded. Presets for the durations you use constantly. Hundredth-of-a-second display, drift-free over hours, and a final-stretch mode where the last 10 seconds grow, turn red and pulse. ⏲ Stopwatch with lap analysis Laps at the press of a button, fastest and slowest highlighted, and a curve of your lap history with best, worst and average — so you see exactly where you dropped off. Run several stopwatches at once for relays, training groups or two players at a board. 💪 Workout plans Build intervals from four blocks — warm-up, exercise, rest, cool-down — by drag and drop. While a plan runs, the entire screen takes the colour of the current block, readable from across the room, with 3-2-1 countdown beeps and a distinct tone at every block change. Pomodoro, Tabata and EMOM are built in and fully editable. 🔒 No subscription, no ads, no account, no in-app purchases No internet needed at all. It works in flight mode. I have no running costs for it, so there's nothing to monetise and nothing to track. On the voice side I deliberately shipped one reliable command rather than ten unreliable ones.
