I built HandType, an Android app that turns typed text into handwriting that looks written by hand. It does not switch to a handwriting font: every letter gets small changes in shape, slant, size and baseline, and you can tap Regenerate until you like the result.
What it does:
- Two built-in styles (Ink Script and Flowing Cursive) and 11 papers.
- Save as PNG, transparent PNG or A4 PDF split across pages.
- Premium (one-time purchase, 2.89 USD): print the practice sheet, write the letters with your pen, scan it with the phone, and HandType writes any text in your own hand. The scan is processed on the phone and never uploaded.
