Hello, ProductHunt people! Hanabi.rest is a web application that utilizes AI technology to generate REST APIs and SQL from prompts or screenshots, significantly speeding up backend development. This application allows for checking the functionality of APIs directly connected to the data layer through a browser, thereby greatly improving the development process. Hono.js is optimized for web standards and Edge runtimes, enabling deployment in various environments such as Cloudflare, Fastly, Deno, Bun, Lagon, AWS, and Node.js. The APIs created can be shared through links, allowing community members to contribute to the improvement of applications through stars and forks. Support is also provided for importing npm packages, automatically adding types to the editor. Furthermore, it is possible to automatically generate APIs with AI using links to interfaces generated from Vercel's v0.dev. Additionally, the generated APIs can be deployed directly to Cloudflare Workers, and D1 databases can be created, migrated, and worker scripts deployed with just a few clicks from the browser, making it easy to introduce them into production environments. A dedicated CLI is also available for configuring projects and advancing local development. We encourage you to try it out, share your application (API), and ask questions of the manufacturer.

congrats on the launch! it's exciting to see tools that streamline api and backend development. can you share more about how hanabi.rest ensures the security of APIs, especially considering the ease of deployment on various platforms?

Hi @mashy ! I'm one of the developers of Hanabi. At the very least, we do not currently recommend using APIs created with Hanabi in production environments, as it is intended for experimental purposes. However, we plan to introduce features such as automatic generation and correction of test code in the future, which will make it more practical and reliable!

Pricing page doesn't work. If you are not intending to add pricing at this time, then maybe place a page up to explain it is in Beta or something, rather than an error page?

@exopaul Thank you for your valuable feedback. We had initially planned to release additional pricing information in a future update, but it seems that a link was mistakenly added to the footer in an incorrect commit. We have now corrected this issue and removed the link. To clarify and improve transparency, we have added the cost of each generation on the landing page, which was previously shown only during onboarding after login. Please note that as of now (May 30), there are no paid features, and the service is free to use until the credits are exhausted. We wanted to clarify this to avoid any confusion. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. To prevent similar issues in the future, we plan to implement an internal program that will fail the deployment if there are links to non-existent pages.
