I started Halocard after trying to buy something online that I didn’t want appearing on my bank statement. Privacy.com needed an SSN I didn’t have, Vanilla prepaid gift card wouldn’t activate outside the US and the sketchy crypto card I found was rejected by the merchant.
So, I decided to solve this problem. After meeting 43 banks, spending 7 months in development and undergoing 3 compliance audits, Halocard was born.
