A quiet nudge every 30 minutes, on Mac and iPhone. One tap to score your last half hour: value or waste. By evening, you see exactly where your day went. No timers, no forms, no mental load.

By the end of the day I actually saw where my hours disappeared, mostly doomscrolling I had convinced myself was research. The single tap keeps it frictionless enough that I never skipped one.
@aryazdoru5paw Even if you skip, you can still qualify your half hour on the dashboard Later
The quick score idea is genuinely smart, would love a weekly summary view so I can spot patterns across days instead of only seeing today. Maybe something like a simple bar chart showing value vs waste per day for the past week right in the app.
@eneskqgp We have a weekly and a monthly dashboard
Really liked the no-friction approach - just a quick tap every half hour with zero setup. Surprised how much it revealed about my afternoon scrolling habits after just one day.
Score by activity or app rather than just value or waste. A nudge like "last 30 minutes were mostly in Linear and Chrome" gives me way more to act on than a binary label, and it would make the evening summary genuinely useful for figuring out where to cut.
Tried it on my Mac for an afternoon and the end-of-day recap honestly surprised me. Turns out I'd assumed I was "in flow" for two hours that were actually pure distraction.
Love the low-friction approach here. One thing I'd want is a weekly review screen that shows the categories of waste so I can spot patterns, like social media eating my mornings or meetings eating my afternoons, rather than only seeing the day-by-day totals. Would make the data feel actionable instead of just reflective.
