Very excited to launch on ProductHunt today!
I challenged myself to build an MVP in 24 hours, and so HairstyleAI was born! The app was well received & made sales on the first day of launch 🥳 - despite being very barebones & mostly manual.
The last few weeks have been a real rollercoaster, as I had to build out the app, improve the AI model, implement different styles, handle customers support - at the same time as orders kept coming in 😁
Fast forward to today, HairstyleAI now offers 35 hairstyles & colours, improved render quality and is now a fully fledged web app 🤯🚀
Why hairstyles?
I built this app because I thought this would be a cool use-case for AI technology! 🤖😁
No need to go to the hairdresser, you can try out some hairstyles with AI - from the comfort of your own home 😉
Will this style look good on me? How will I look bald? Take the guesswork out of your next makeover and try it out with AI! Also, you can now try on a short haircut without the risk of actually cutting your hair off 🤭💇♀️
How does it work?
You sign up and upload a few headshots of yourself to the app. Our AI starts training on your facial features. After learning is completed, it will generate 140 renders spanning 35 different hairstyles & colours for you 👧👦
Do note, the AI technology is still new & experimental, so results may vary. I’m keen to hear your feedback on how I can make this the best product possible, so let me know! 😊

I made some hairstyle for my girlfriend and she loved it. She was really impressed by the quality of the pictures.
Instructions are clear and the app is easy to use!
Also Nick is a great guy and provides excelled customer support. I made a mistake when uploading the pictures and he was immediately there to help with the issue.
