Why did you build this, and what feedback would help most?).
We built Tailab Engine to solve a critical gap in security daemons: standard exception handling isn't enough for high-stakes environments. By enforcing mlockall to lock memory directly in physical RAM and triggering immediate kernel-level termination (os._exit(101)) on failure, we ensure absolute fail-closed integrity.
We’d love feedback from the developer and security community on edge cases in low-level memory locking, alternative approaches to preventing swap dumps in Python, and how you handle strict fail-closed states in your production stacks! 🛡️💻
