Habitual cures 'habit fatigue' by turning daily routines into an RPG. Instead of just checking boxes, your real-world habits earn Distance (Steps), progressing you through a fantasy map. Every check-in can trigger random encounters (like trivia or merchants). Earn rare loot, equip relics, and collect Lore that helps to enrich the world. Built natively in SwiftUI with privacy first (offline/SwiftData). Currently in Public Beta! Join us to test the internal economy and explore the world.

Hey Product Hunt! I'm SoftDeveloper23, the solo developer behind Habitual.
Like many people, I struggle with "habit fatigue." Checking a box just stops feeling rewarding after a week. So, as part of a "10 Apps in 2026" challenge to ship products, I built a habit tracker that implements video game dopamine loops.
Instead of just maintaining a streak, checking off your habits earns you Distance (Steps) but costs Energy (your daily resource). This lets you travel across a map and triggers random encounters (biome events, merchant trading, character/creature interactions).
You can collect rare loot, equip game-changing relics, and even collect Lore that comes with both images and story/description text.
It's built natively in SwiftUI and is completely offline/private via SwiftData (will launch with CloudKit).
We are currently in Public Beta! I've activated a hidden progression boost for early testers. I'd love for the PH community to try to break the internal economy and give me feedback.
I'll be hanging out in the comments to answer questions. Thanks!
