The inspiration behind creating Habitie stems from my own habit of regularly tracking routines. I enjoy the sense of organization and wanted to craft a user-friendly and visually appealing habit-tracking app. I believe that cultivating habits should be as simple as possible. Overly complicated settings or categorizations, even detailed tracking down to the minute, may not necessarily facilitate the genuine formation of habits. Knowing what habits we want to establish, what goals we aim to achieve, we only need to give them a name and set a repeating cycle. That's all it takes. Start, persist, and then reflect. Recently, while organizing my phone, I discovered that I've been consistently tracking my menstrual cycle for nearly 9 years. I've quietly recorded month after month, never realizing I've amassed data for over 100 months. This is just one example. I pay attention to my health, learning, finances, and other areas, and I plan to start recording them on Habitie in the future. I aim to cultivate habits like eating fruits and vegetables daily and exercising weekly. What's the longest habit you've maintained? What areas of your progress do you enjoy documenting? @gwenlaugl Congrats on the launch! A few points of feedback for you, after using the app: - Have example habits to add on the home screen. In the spirit of "don't make me think" it should be easy to look at the home screen and think "ohh yea, I make my bed every morning" or "I have vitamins to take every day" - Depending on how the take rate is on your "Pro" version, might be worth reconsidering the price point on it. Given the feature set of free vs pro. - Any plans to add notification support? - When adding a habit, would be nice to have the option to add a photo or additional details on said habit. In the instance that this a task I am performing irregularly and want to remember the respective steps.

@smith_craig Thank you very much! Your feedback is highly valuable. - I agree that perhaps adding some examples of habits could provide users with more assistance. Initially, I thought from the perspective of a user who is intrinsically motivated to track habits, believing that users actively seeking relevant applications would have a clear idea of the habits they want to establish. Therefore, I ended up omitting the incorporation of examples. However, your perspective is also enlightening, and providing some examples may indeed make it easier and more convenient for users. - Regarding pricing, it is actually based on the consideration that there will be more new features added to the membership benefits in the future. Considering that increasing the price after adding new benefits in the future may create resistance among users, pricing was done with psychological factors in mind. I would also like to understand the budget expectations for subscription plan prices in different regions. I would appreciate knowing what pricing you think would be better and more in line with the expectations of users around you. - Yes, notifications will be added in the future! - Regarding adding photos and additional descriptions, it slightly deviates from the positioning of the product I am creating. Because I aim to minimize the cost of creating a habit and hope that the habits users create are well-thought-out. Sometimes, adding too many extra things can make one forget the initial purpose and also exhaust them. Therefore, adding photos is not in my future update plans. But I agree that adding an additional description option may be helpful for users who need it. Perhaps in future upgrades, I will consider adding an optional additional description field, allowing users to add descriptions to habits according to their needs. Truly appreciate your feedback and suggestions.

Nice work on this! Like another commenter said, I think push notifications would be essential to *nudge* people into their habits if they start to deviate. An incentive/gamification structure would also help achieve the overall goal of Habitie. Also, is a Siri integration on the roadmap? One reason I continue to use Apple's Reminder app (despite it severely lacking features), is because I could just use Siri to check off an item from the list instead of opening an app. I look forward to seeing the evolution of Habitie, great work!

@allynsweet Thanks for your feedback！ - Yes, notifications will be added in the future. However, I also would like to understand how you perceive notification push. Do you usually proactively turn off app push notifications, or do you actively turn them on? I have observed that some users are averse to notifications, some have no particular feelings about it, and some believe it is necessary. - The motivation and gamification framework is indeed very interesting, and I am aware that some similar apps adopt such mechanisms and frameworks. However, it may not align with the positioning of my app. I still want to focus on creating a simple habit tracking application. - Integrating Siri functionality is something I had not thought of, and this perspective is very inspiring. I should try to explore on this direction in the future. Thank you very much for trying out Habitie and for these inspiring suggestions!
