I built GutGraph for my wife. She'd been dealing with unpredictable digestive issues for years — bloating, discomfort, energy crashes — and no app actually helped her connect what she ate to how she felt. Everything was about calories. She didn't need calorie counting, she needed answers.
So I built her a food and symptom journal that surfaces patterns over time. Then I started using it myself. Turns out even without gut issues, knowing which foods drain your energy or mess with your sleep is incredibly valuable.

This started as a personal project for two users (me and my wife). Now I want to see if it helps others too. I'm here all day — ask me anything.
This looks like it could really help my family who struggle a lot with gut problems and have looked for a diagnosis for years. Does it take into account other factors such as stress?
@hannah_allward Not yet, but I'm having this on my list of improvements as it is quite an important factor for how you feel.
I used to be scared of eating food in general because i did not understand what was good for me and what made me feel bad - that changed after using this app. It gave me an insight to how my body reacts to certain foods while the effort i have to put in was minimal. It’s not just a tracker of calories and macros (even though having those tracked too helps a lot!).
The app is a really great tool for people who struggle with all sorts of digestive symptoms. I highly recommend it!
