Guitariz Studio is a free, open-source browser music lab. Detect chords from MP3/WAV audio files with our AI Chord Recognition engine, separate vocals/instrumentals statelessly with deep learning, and master theory with interactive Circle of Fifths and Both Western/Indian Ragas scale explorers. No registration needed.
Adding a MIDI export option for the detected chords would be huge - it would let users drop the progression straight into their DAW or notation software to build out full arrangements without manually entering each chord.
@n_eslem68217 thanks so much, Eslem! you read my mind MIDI export is actually on the official roadmap (you can spot it in our GitHub repo's README)... I completely agree that dropping it straight into a DAW is the next logical step to make this super useful for producers... Definitely working on this soon :)
A midi export option for the detected chords would be amazing so I can drop them straight into my DAW and start building around them right away.
@melihlidiphxj thanks Melih! A few people have mentioned this, and it's actually already planned on our roadmap! Making it easy to get those progressions right into your DAW for arrangement is a top priority. I'll be working on adding this feature soon!
This looks like a great starting point for anyone learning music theory in the browser. One thing I'd love to see is the ability to export detected chords as a chord chart or MIDI file so I can drop them into my DAW or share with bandmates. Would make the AI recognition way more useful beyond just analysis.
@selma174792 thanks so much, Selma! you'll be happy to hear that based on everyone's feedback, we just pushed MIDI Export live on Guitariz Studio! you can now download .mid files for your detected progressions and drop them straight into your DAW... would love to hear your thoughts when you try it out! :)
The stateless vocal separation is a really thoughtful design choice, cuts out a lot of friction compared to other tools that force you to upload and wait. Love that it's all running in the browser too.
