While working at my university's international office, I witnessed countless exchange students arriving overwhelmed by unfamiliar bureaucracies, city navigation, and cultural differences. They needed personalized guidance based on their specific situation - their country of origin, program type, accommodation needs - not generic one-size-fits-all documentation. I built GuideWizard as an open-source platform where universities (and any organization) could create intelligent guides that adapt to each user's unique context through a simple question-and-answer flow, delivering exactly the information they need when they need it. What makes GuideWizard unique is its sophisticated logic engine that goes beyond simple if/then rules to deliver truly personalized content paths. Unlike expensive enterprise platforms or basic form builders, we offer a complete open-source ecosystem with offline-first architecture, multilingual support, and progress tracking - all deployable via Docker for full data control.
