We built Guestii because the way events are actually run behind the scenes hasn’t changed in years. Most venues and promoters are still relying on spreadsheets, WhatsApp groups, and paper lists at the door. There is no real visibility, no accountability, and no reliable data. When things go wrong, it slows everything down and costs money. I have been on both sides of it, running events and working in hospitality tech, and it always felt like existing platforms were focused on selling tickets rather than helping operators run a smooth night. The reality is the hardest part of events is not selling entry, it is managing everything at the door in real time. So we built Guestii around that. It is designed for what actually happens on the ground. Who shows up, who they came with, how staff manage entry, and how venues track what is really going on. It is built for dark rooms, patchy internet, and fast-moving teams. We started in nightlife because it is the most demanding environment. High volume, high pressure, and no tolerance for slow or unreliable systems. If it works there, it works anywhere. As we built, it became clear that promoters drive a huge portion of attendance but have never had proper tools or visibility. That led to Guest Line, which gives promoters their own profiles, CRM, and a way to actually grow and understand their audience. The biggest lesson has been that simplicity and reliability matter far more than adding features. If it is not fast and dependable at the door, nothing else matters.
