Open-source Autonomous Agent with Edge-AI to run on Android devices. Most phone "assistants" just talk - and ship your data to the cloud. GUAPPA actually does the task fully on-device. Text it, talk to it, or let it run on its own. Free, open, runs right on your Android.

@alexander_ostapenko2Β Love the focus on true on-device autonomy instead of another cloud assistant wrapper. What kinds of tasks are users automating most successfully today, and how much can GUAPPA do without needing any cloud services at all?
@nicole_hynekΒ Thanks Nicole, that's exactly the itch I was scratching - the world doesn't need another cloud wrapper. π
On what people automate most: the boring recurring stuff wins by a mile. Morning routines (check calendar, summarize overnight messages, fire off a few replies), clearing notification backlogs, pulling info out of one app and dropping it into another, and "do this every day at X" type tasks. Basically the taps you do on autopilot.
The reason it can go this deep is the tool coverage - Guappa has a big toolbox for the device itself: files, settings, sensors, scheduling, geofences, plus a GUI layer that can drive other apps directly. So it's not limited to one integration; if it's on your phone, it can usually work with it.
On how much runs without the cloud: the brain itself can run fully on-device, so reasoning, memory, your personal context, and anything that's local to the phone (files, settings, on-device app actions, scheduled triggers) need zero cloud. The only things that obviously still need a connection are tasks that are the internet - web lookups, sending a Telegram message, ordering something. So: the AI and your data stay on your phone; only the genuinely online tasks reach out.
Curious what you'd want to hand off first - always looking for the next thing to make it great at. π
