GrowAsia Capital: Education & Training Loans for Newcomers to Canada

When people move to Canada, their credit history starts from zero. It doesn’t matter how many years they worked, saved or borrowed back home. Most lenders look at the Canadian credit file first, so qualified newcomers get turned down for the loans they need to get licensed, certified or retrained in their field.
We built GrowAsia Capital to fix that first step. Newcomers answer a few questions about their status, their time in Canada and what they’re financing. We match them with lenders that assess their situation today, and checking options doesn’t affect their credit score.
We started with education and training loans because that is where a loan most directly leads to a job.
We’re adding lenders to cover more needs.
