Hi Product Hunt! I built GroupMixer after seeing how quickly a simple ‘split this roster’ task becomes a real scheduling problem. Random teams are easy, but facilitators often need balanced groups, people kept together or apart, fixed hosts, and several rounds where the same pairs should not keep meeting. The solver is the part I’m proudest of. I set out to build the best practical Social Golfer solver available, then brought the Rust engine to the browser with WebAssembly.
