I'm a cyclist, and every winter the same thing bugged me: indoor apps let you ride their worlds – but not the roads I actually ride outside. Exporting my Komoot tour and riding it on the trainer just wasn't possible without a pricey subscription and a big download.
So I built grimpio:
• Load any GPX/FIT file and ride it in 3D – terrain comes from real elevation data and OpenStreetMap
• Runs in Chrome/Edge, your trainer connects via Web Bluetooth – nothing to install
• 20 classic climbs ready to go (Stelvio, Alpe d'Huez, Ventoux, Großglockner…) plus a 10-stage tour
• ERG workouts, a pacer group you can draft behind, ghost rides, leaderboards, Strava upload
It's in open beta – free and unlimited until 31 March 2027. I'd love your feedback, especially on trainer compatibility and which climbs you want next.
