As someone who likes to rapidly prototype ideas, this is game changing. Spreadsheets can be used as a backend which lowers the barrier for anyone else to work with me and shortens time to value.
Huge fan of what you’re building! I can already see so many ways to integrate this into workflows with AI agents that rely on spreadsheet data for real-time calculations. Today’s AI often struggles with consistency in returning specific values, but spreadsheets don’t. Turning spreadsheet logic into a reliable API is a huge leap forward. Congrats!

We are very proud of what we've built: the world's most sophisticated independent spreadsheet engine, with broad function coverage and precise compatibility with both Excel and Google Sheets, performant and battle-tested on hundreds of thousands of real-world spreadsheets.
Now that we've opened up API access, you'll be able to integrate it with all manner of your own projects, such as using existing spreadsheet models in your software system without having to port the spreadsheet itself to code ... and bringing the precise calculations of spreadsheet models to bear in AI conversations. (LLMs are great but let's all agree the last thing they should be doing is calculating things themselves!)
