GreyScout: Online Brand Protection Platform for Global CPG Brands

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Sarunas, and I lead growth at GreyScout. Every consumer brand we talk to has the same story. Their products show up on marketplaces they never sold into, listed by sellers they can't identify, at prices which feels suspiciously low. By the time someone notices, a customer has already bought a low quality product or even worse - a counterfeit. As a result they blamed the brand for it. Most teams handle this with a spreadsheet, a few saved searches, and one very tired person doing screenshot evidence at 11pm. That's what we set out to replace. GreyScout Online Brand Protection platform detects, verify, enforces and enables brands to govern their marketplace reselling channel. You upload your product information to the platform, and the software will detect any grey market activity on your monitored products. What changed most while building it: we started out thinking the hard part was finding unverified sellers. It isn't. Detection is comparatively easy. The hard part is proving a listing is infringing in a way a marketplace will act on, and doing that at a volume a two-person brand team can survive. So we rebuilt the whole thing around evidence and enforcement rather than dashboards. We'd genuinely like feedback on your experience.
