Hey PH, I built grepit because I faced a lot of challenges with my claude code usage at my previous company. I was a new employee and a junior in the field but there was a lot of pressure to deliver stuff and really quick as well. While claude or cursor did solve for building things quick, it wasn't allowing me to properly understand the codebase . One day I was working in a different service and the next day the other. All my PRs had comments which showed that I haven't properly understood the code I have pushed. But I also couldn't ask claude all these questions as the answers it gave were really not that good and also used up almost all my tokens that I needed to actually do something useful. That's why I built grepit.
