How do you choose carbon offsets?

@russell_antcliff good question Russel! We only fund carbon offset projects which meet the highest verification standards, such as Gold Standard or Verified Carbon Standard. But we are lucky enough to have a vast choice amongst those projects! So on top of accreditation, we look for diverse projects which may align with all of your passions. Don’t hesitate to drop us an email if you would like to see a project in particular. On top of that we look for projects which meet other important sustainability and development standards and contribute positive impacts to the local communities. These are well represented by the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). In the app you will be able to see tags near each project. These represent the SDGs that either Gold Standard or Verra have identified the project as meeting. Pretty cool stuff ☺

At the moment you get: - onboarding questionnaire where you can see your overall carbon footprint for the past year - daily food carbon footprint tracking of over 9000 base ingredients - travel carbon footprint including: car (with number plate lookup), flights, walking, cycling, train, bus and tube!
