Hi everyone, I had been searching for a tool to calculate the number of grafts needed to cover the whole balding area of the head. I found out this graft calculator which provides very reasonable number of grafts and hair calculation based on the hair loss types of Hamilton-Norwood Scale that is the universally accepted scale to diagnose the level of baldness. Selecting different areas, I have noticed that the number of grafts is not increasing in the same fashion for all areas. Also, multiple area selection seems to have its own calculation method. In face to face hair transplant consultations, this is how the hair transplant surgeon is calculating the estimated number of grafts. Some clinics determine the price based on the number of grafts while others per session.
