Very lame. Fail. Searched twice on "Provincetown" a town in Massachusetts and out of three spins, two of them returned "Oops, we've run into an issue
The content filter has detected that the generated text may be political, mildly offensive, or violent. Please choose a different topic and try again." Could it be that you are overly filtering on LGBT people as the strong community is a big draw for gay and straight visitors there? This is fail. Don't over protect us from words and concepts you may not be comfortable with. Ridiculous. Embarrassed for you all.
Hey @michael_goff1 I’ll look into why we couldn’t pull in ideas for the keyword- Provincetown. Thanks for sharing the feedback here.
Regarding filtering out content, I hear you. It’s the AI development community’s responsibility to ensure the system is not filtering out important voices and topics erroneously. We will get this feedback to the Open AI team ASAP so that they can investigate the issue.

@aitharaju thanks for the diligence and awareness of the issues when playing with this stuff. Get's old. Appreciated
I wrote "website wireframes" and got "Something went wrong getting the ideas. Please email support --at-- usetopic.com"
Then I wrote "design wireframes" and got "Oops, we've run into an issue
The content filter has detected that the generated text may be political, mildly offensive, or violent. Please choose a different topic and try again." Um… Seriously? 😅
@anna_0x That's weird, it definitely wasn't the right message to show in this context. The content filters are set by the openAI team and we do not have full control over it. Its in very early stages so I'm hoping its going to improve eventually. Did you try again with the term?

?makers why can't I generate ideas based on LGBTQ terms? Your site claims LGBTQ is "toxic, offensive, or political". Are you trying to say that you are anti-LGBTQ?
@karalend We are not anti-LGBTQ. The content filters are set by the open AI team. It’s the AI development community’s responsibility to ensure the system is not filtering out important voices and topics erroneously. We have communicated it with their team and they are working on improving the filters.
Really interesting concept! I tried a few keywords and was really pleasantly surprised. Then, when I tried "OAuth 2.0", I got this:
"Five Reasons To Move To O Auth 2.0
Mozilla is moving to OAuth 2.0 for authorizing third party clients (e.g. Firefox plugins) to access your data at apps.facebook.com. This is a good thing from a user security and privacy standpoint. Coughing is the body’s way of clearing mucus and other material from the airways. There are several types of coughs and many can be harmless. However, sometimes a cough may be due to an underlying health"
It was looking so promising until the topic changed to coughing :D
Would love to see how this develops and matures.

@seb_sidbury Haha that's pretty funny! Yay technology!
@seb_sidbury Thanks Seb for the feedback. Yep the tool does go off the rails occasionally, but the fact that you can generate more ideas in a click means that you're bound to get a good idea eventually!
Hello PH community! Really excited about launching this 😀
For the past eight years, we've been working on ways to grow businesses with SEO. Today, I'm launching a tool that solves a problem that I've personally always struggled with: Brainstorming blog post ideas that will rank on search.
Brainstorming ideas for SEO content is tricky because:
1. Content needs to be highly tailored to the search intent behind the targeted keyword
2. Content ALSO needs to be unique enough to beat the competitors
No matter how good the writing is, if you don't satisfy the above, the blog post is doomed to a black hole where no-one will read it.
The problem is, coming up with unique blog post ideas that incorporate search intent is a challenge, especially when you've got a lot of keywords to target.
That's why I built the Blog Idea Generator.
It's a tool to help you brainstorm quality blog post ideas in seconds. Simply give it a keyword you're looking to target, and it will give you a unique blog post idea.
* Waste less time brainstorming ideas for your blog
* Fill your content calendar in minutes instead of hours
It can admittedly go off the rails occasionally (as it's an automated system), but the fact that you can generate more ideas in a click means that you're bound to get a clever idea eventually!
I'd love to get your feedback.
Thanks!
