Hey everyone 👋
I’m Aatif, a 19-year-old developer from Meerut, India—and today I’m launching **Gotham**.
Gotham started as a curiosity project:
👉 *Can we turn scattered global weather & disaster data into something actually understandable and useful?*
Right now, information about earthquakes, wildfires, air quality, and other risks is fragmented across different sources. I wanted to explore what it would look like to bring that together into one system.
So I built Gotham — an open-source **weather risk intelligence dashboard** that aims to:
* 🌍 Aggregate global risk signals (weather, disasters, environment)
* 📊 Visualize them in a simple, real-time interface
* 🧠 Lay the groundwork for a future “risk engine” (scoring, predictions, insights)
This is still **early and experimental**—more of a foundation than a finished product. The goal is to learn, iterate, and eventually make it genuinely useful.
I’d really appreciate:
* Honest feedback (UI, idea, usefulness)
* Suggestions on what to build next
* Contributions if this space interests you
If you’ve worked on climate, data, or infra problems, I’d especially love your perspective.
Thanks for checking it out 🙏
