How does the "100% private" claim actually hold up since the files still have to travel to a server somewhere to be processed?
@ltfiyeqplp Fair callout, Lütfiye! Most tools (merge, split, rotate, compress, etc.) run 100% locally in your browser via WebAssembly — those files never touch a server at all. Our AI features and some conversions do require server-assisted processing since that can’t happen client-side yet, but that’s handled over encrypted HTTPS, in isolated temporary workspaces, with automatic deletion within minutes of completion — nothing is stored or retained afterward. So “100% private” fully applies to the local tools, and the server-assisted ones are “encrypted, isolated, and gone” rather than sitting on our infrastructure.
