Review Google Sites?
Google Sites earns praise for being fast to set up, truly free, and tightly integrated with Google Workspace. Longâtime users highlight how well it handles intranets, wikis, and straightforward sites, with reliable hosting and easy collaboration. Mobile responsiveness is solid. The makers of Invoice Builder App say it works well for quick app landing pages. The main tradeâoffs: limited design control, no custom CSS, and fewer advanced features. Best for teams and individuals who want a simple, maintenanceâfree site; less ideal for complex, highly branded builds.

Google Sites is the Google Workspace intranet-building solution, which also happens to be great for designing simple websites. I've been using the product for 13 years and I've built thousands of sites. Like any no code web platform it has its limitations, but it works especially well at bringing together Google apps for clean company intranets, wikis and free sites. Google Sites is legitimately the only completely free website builder, with free hosting included!
If you're looking for a simple and free way to create a website, Google Sites is a great option. It's easy to use, integrates with other Google products, and is responsive on all devices. However, if you need a website with a lot of features or you want to have more control over the design, you might want to consider a different website builder.
