The end of passwords is near πŸ‘€ Google released Passkeys, a simpler and safer alternative to passwords, straight from your Google account. Who's tried it yet?

its about time we get some innovation in the authentication space.

This is really interesting. I've been seeing many auth providers shift away from password flows, moving toward magic links, MFA, OTP, etc. Also, many products do this as wellβ€”Linear and Vercel are two notable examples. Now Google is hopping on that trend too! We'll definitely be seeing fewer and fewer auth flows with email + password in the next few years.
