Built in Go with an interactive terminal UI — navigate menus with arrow keys, pick video quality from 4K to 360p, and choose your output folder. No GUI needed. Install with Homebrew or download the binary directly. Works on macOS and Windows.

Hey everyone! I built this because I was tired of sketchy video downloader websites full of ads and popups. Goodman DL MP4 runs entirely in your terminal — no browser needed, no ads, no tracking. It supports YouTube and 1000+ other sites through yt-dlp, with an interactive menu where you pick format (MP4/MP3), video quality (up to 4K), and download folder using arrow keys.
