I'm a big fan of the progress being made in natural language processing. I feel like right now there has been enough progress to deliver some of the early benefits to spreadsheet users. A lot of back office knowledge work requires “tick & tie” processes that generative models won’t tie to unless they can score and rank their outputs. With scores, users can “verify” text instead of slogging through painstaking "manual" data entry.
