Good Books are books recommended by successful people.
I was standing in the book shop the other day and thought to myself "god, I really wish there was a curated platform where I could find my next read" - solved. Wow, this is great!

I love this, thanks for making it! Great timing, just yesterday I decided to make my own want-to-read list for the first time in years. Because of that, I have some feedback in case you're interested:
1. What I valued the most when making my own list was the short blurb accompanying the book to describe why it was recommended. Long lists were useless to me; the best curated lists I found were https://www.gatesnotes.com/about... and https://sivers.org/book, for this reason
2. The two flows I'd use most on your site are "search by topic -> see a shortlist of books with reasons they are recommended", and "search for recommender -> see their top books, by recency of recommendation and reasons why". Occasionally I'd also be happy to browse famous people to see what books they have recommended. I wouldn't use any other flows on the site
3. The fade-in animation is pretty, but after a minute of browsing, the constant fade-in and menu animations are distracting. Probably better to save them for the homepage
Overall I love the concept, and there's so much data you were able to pull in — awesome work :)

Just checked it out, I LOVE how simple, beautiful and easy it is to use! And I like how Good Books included recommendations from those great minds I admire. Beautifully-designed and well-built! This is definitely going to be a an essential tool for my information diet! Thank you and good job 🙌🏻
