Goliash shows what runs where, on which version, in which environment. It reads Kubernetes, ECS, Lambda, Nomad, Swarm, Docker and Linux servers, builds a service × environment matrix, compares every version with upstream releases and tells you when environments drift apart or something hits end of life. Read-only agent, built-in MCP server, alerts to Slack, Teams and webhooks. Open source and self-hosted.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Peter, the maker of Goliash.
As a DevOps engineer I worked across many different environments, and patching was a constant job. I kept missing a tool that simply showed what version runs where and what needs upgrading, so I built one.
Goliash answers one question: what runs where, on which version, in which environment?
• It reads what actually runs on Kubernetes, ECS, Lambda, Nomad, Swarm, plain Docker and Linux servers, with no CI integration needed
• It builds a service × environment matrix and compares every version with upstream releases (Docker Hub, GHCR, ECR, Quay and more)
• It tells you when environments drift (staging on 1.5.0, prod still on 1.3.2), when something hits end of life, and what to upgrade first
• It's read-only: the agent only sends data out over HTTPS, and credentials stay in your network
• It has a built-in MCP server, so you can ask your AI assistant "what runs in prod?" or "what should we upgrade first?"
Try it in 10 seconds: docker run --rm -p 8080:8080 ghcr.io/pipozzz/goliash try
Or browse the live demo at demo.goliash.dev with no install.
It's fully open source and self-hosted. I'd love to hear which orchestrator or registry you'd want next, and what "drift" means in your setup.
hey peter, congrats on goliash! we're launching benson today too: https://www.producthunt.com/products/benson-2. hope the launch goes well.
