I'm the author of Goblin.
Goblin was made to make it easier to distribute CLI tools built in Go.
Both the implementation and usage are pretty straightforward.
Reasons to build it
- Easier to distribute CLI binaries for each requesting system
- Handle version resolution(from github and go proxy, and more over time)
