Turn AncestryDNA, 23andMe, MyHeritage, FTDNA, LivingDNA or VCF exports into a report on your computer: haplogroups, trait markers, ClinVar matches and pharmacogenomics. A CLI and MCP server, free and MIT licensed. Read the report on its own or explore derived results with Claude, Codex or a local model. Cloud models receive the results they read; the raw file stays local. Not medical advice.

I'm Justin, the creator of gnomancer. I built the whole project with Claude Code and used my own Ancestry raw-data file for iterative testing.
Gnomancer is a CLI and MCP server. It takes a raw export from 23andMe, Ancestry, MyHeritage, FTDNA or LivingDNA, or a VCF, and writes an HTML report on your computer with haplogroups, a marker panel, ClinVar and PharmCAT.
Agents get derived results, not the raw file, and health tables are only fetched when asked for. With a cloud model those results go to the provider; a local model avoids that.
You can explore a synthetic-data walkthrough without uploading anything: https://gnomancer.com/demo/
It's free and open source, MIT licensed: https://github.com/codebase/gnomancer
It's not medical advice. Chip results for rare variants are often wrong, so confirm anything that worries you with a clinical test.
Feedback welcome, especially on the report's clarity and the installation experience.
