I've been using it since an invitation from an employee was required (2004) and it's the mail client that I've returned to after having tested many alternatives.
Let's face it, for a product that's ostensibly free or at least doesn't require a subscription, it's excellent.
However, I cannot bring myself to like the UI or functionality. Specifically, how 'conversations' are presented. Maybe I'm just so used to Outlook from way back when but I really like how Outlook clearly showed the entirety of a mail chain from the oldest to newest entries. It's clear and chronological.
Gmail handles conversations in a very different way. I've really no clue how to follow it, there doesn't seem to be any logic to it at all.
Having said that, 15GB for free is generous and it works fine. Can't really complain.
Superb collection of applications. Among the best in its class.
An emails service that has everything under the wraps, I love how easy that you can actually integrate Google Meet and calender into Gmail. Brilliant.
