GlyphCollector is a type revival tool. It's a difficult process to digitize old typefaces due in large part to the disparity between printing methods and materials. Caslon on rough paper is way different looking than Caslon on thin or smooth paper, for instance. GlyphCollector collects all instances of a character from a scanned page and distills an average image from them, making the process of finding a letterforms "true" shape way easier.
