Hey Product Hunt! We built Glintty because we kept running into the same problem: GitHub is an incredible place to build and share software, but discovering interesting projects isn't always easy. Sometimes you find a repository and still have to dig through the README, tabs, releases, activity, documentation and related projects just to understand whether it's actually useful to you. So we built a different layer on top of GitHub. With Glintty, you can: → Discover projects through search, Popular Now and Hidden Gems → Understand what a project is, who it's for and how healthy it is → Compare 2–4 projects side by side → Save interesting projects into your own Collections → Explore open source without needing to navigate the GitHub maze Glintty doesn't replace GitHub — GitHub remains the source of truth. We simply want to make the discovery experience better. We're a small independent team, and this is our first public launch of Glintty.
