Client history is the real lock-in – schedulers are a commodity, but "what formula did we use in March" is why a stylist never leaves. What's the migration path for someone with three years in a paper book? That first week is usually where salon software loses people.
@aktivist Yes Indeed Client history is a huge selling point for Glammy.
For the migration we would do it by phases so you start as soon as possible starting by concoting an excel sheet with last month's and next month's clients, so you can start using it and withing that month, it would give us time to populate you account with all your other clients.
@rafik_belazouz Phased makes sense – and the part I'd put on the landing page is that you populate the account, not the salon. "We move your client history for you" kills the main objection better than any feature list, because the fear isn't the software, it's the evening of data entry. Do you handle that from photos of the paper book, or does it have to arrive as a spreadsheet?
@aktivist We do handle that from the book, photos are sufficient.
The goals is for the migration to be as smooth as possible.
The SMS reminders alone are worth it, clients stopped ghosting my appointments since I switched. Clean interface, finally everything lives in one place instead of five different apps.
