👋 We are excited to introduce Gitten, a project born out of my own frustration while searching for a way to manage content effortlessly on GitHub without all the technical hurdles. The idea for Gitten came about when we realized how complex it was for non-technical users to maintain content in Git-based environments. we’ve watched friends and colleagues struggle to manage pages and documentation on platforms like Docusaurus, where a simple edit or publish could mean battling with Git commands, merge conflicts, and pull requests. So, we set out to create a solution that eliminates these barriers, designed with non-developers and content managers in mind. With Gitten, you can: - Manage content on GitHub easily: No need for Git commands! Gitten lets you edit and publish content to GitHub Pages or wikis with just a few clicks, handling all the behind-the-scenes complexities for you. - Edit pages intuitively: Just navigate to `{author}/{repo}/{path}` and start editing. This URL-based navigation makes content shareable and easy to find. - Enjoy seamless Markdown editing: Gitten is perfect for Markdown, but it also offers an online version of Visual Studio Code (VSCode) for inline editing of over 20 code languages – right in your browser. - Forget about Git expertise: No more PRs, commits management, or worrying about merge conflicts. It’s point, click, and publish – all without needing any Git knowledge. Gitten makes it possible for non-developers to get right into content creation and updates without needing any technical know-how.
