Github Worth: See what your GitHub code sells for at AI labs' rates

Hi Product Hunt. AI labs now license private code to train coding models, and eligible repos can sell for $100 per million tokens of source code and $40 per million tokens of git history.

Type a GitHub username and each repo gets its own figure. We count the code with real market values from potential buyers and we estimate the git history from the number of commits.

Public code can't be sold, because anyone can clone it. Your figure is what the same code would be worth if it were private. If you do have private repos, the private calculator counts them in your browser, so the code never leaves your computer.

This is a spin-off of the larger product we launched at the same time, Dataconto, which helps you estimate how much your company's documentation and operational data is worth to data labs.
