The EU data residency angle is super compelling for teams under strict compliance pressure. One thing that would really push this over the top for me: built-in CI/CD pipelines so projects don't have to bolt on a third-party runner outside the EU. If gitbuild.dev offered native runners hosted in the same jurisdictions, it would genuinely be a one-stop shop for sovereign dev workflows.
@edgarallan CI/CD is definitely something I want to add — runners hosted in the same EU jurisdictions, so nothing leaves the region during builds either. There are a couple of things I need to sort out first though, mainly proper build isolation and figuring out a pricing model that actually works. I'd rather take my time on the security side than rush it out. Curious what your CI setup looks like though; that kind of feedback is really useful at this stage.
Love the EU-sovereign angle, really needed this. One thing I'd love to see is built-in pull request review templates and assignee automation, would make onboarding whole teams way smoother than setting it up by hand each time.
finally a git host that doesn't try to upsell me on copilots while hosting my code. love that it's literally just forgejo on eu infrastructure without the ai training creep baked in
