Why I built these specific features:
After years of using every fitness app out there, I kept hitting the same walls. I’d be staring at my phone trying to remember when I last trained rear delts, or wondering if my bench press was actually progressing or if I was just adding weight randomly.
Visual Timeline: I was tired of apps that showed me today’s workout but left me blind to the bigger picture. When you’re following a real program, you need to see the flow - what did I do yesterday, what’s coming tomorrow, and how does it all fit together? Most apps treat every day like it exists in isolation.
Complex Recurring Patterns: Basic weekly schedules don’t work for real training. I needed something that could handle “every 3 days,” “every other Monday,” “twice per week but not on consecutive days” - the kind of flexible scheduling that actual programs require. Then I wanted to see visually which muscles are getting hit when, so I could spot gaps or overlaps in my programming.
Multi-Exercise Data Aggregation: This was the big one. I wanted to see how my chest was developing across bench press, incline press, and flies combined. Not three separate charts, but one unified view. Because that’s how muscles actually work - they get trained by multiple exercises, not just one.
Program Creation (Premium): I was doing too much mental math. “Okay, I hit 225x5 last week, so this week I need 230x5, and in two weeks I’ll test my max…” I wanted the app to handle the progression logic so I could focus on lifting.
These weren’t just features I thought would be cool - they were solutions to problems I faced every single training session
