I am a app developer of 7 years. Mobile applications have amazing monetization opportunities from companies like Google, Facebook and many others. Just reserve a spot on the screen, and let the company advertise products and brands inside that spot while the app is being used. This way, you get monthly paychecks based on the impressions and clicks the ads get, while you as the developer don't have to do anything. As many of my friends started livestreaming last couple of years, I noticed how hard to monetize your content for small to mid-size streamers. Companies can reach out to influencers but because smaller influencers don't have the same reach, companies don't bother advertising with them, although cumulatively they make for a huge audience. That's when I got the idea to create a picture-in-picture advertising block burned in to the video source inside the stream that shows periodic advertisements on the screen when the algorithm matches the campaign with the streamer and decides when it is a good time show the ad. The ad is accompanied with a QR code, but the link is also placed on several other places, like the chat box or the stream bio for mobile users. This is done on the streamers' regular streams on Twitch, Youtube, Kick or other platforms. GingerLive integrates itself inside the stream. I noticed there are other companies doing similar work, where they treat small streamers like influencers and give them a script to read while the ads are played. This approach limits the amount of ads one stream can hold for 3.5 hours(average stream length), as a streamer can read only so much while creating their own content. With eliminating the script reading, ad flow is much more streamlined and the streamer can focus on their content while the ads show up , allowing space for tens or hundreds of advertisements during a stream, increasing streamer earnings and significantly reducing costs for advertisers. Brand panel is influenced by Google Ads, where it is immensely easy to advertise. Upload your asset, see how it will look in real life, choose your constraints and you are good to go. This ease of advertising, combined with the low cost factor opens live stream advertising to B2C and small businesses, along with B2B. Even the smallest mom-and-pop shops can advertise their brand or product on live streams. The advertiser needs to have an ad asset ready to launch the campaign. But AI-generated ad asset feature is coming soon. MVP launches at the end of February.
