Hi Product Hunt,
I'm Silvio, a developer in Medellin, Colombia. I built gigg.me after watching talented artists around me lose gigs for a reason that has nothing to do with their music: when a venue or a booking agency asks for a press kit, they send a WhatsApp voice note and three Instagram links.
gigg.me gives an independent artist one page that does the job: bio, music catalog, photos, technical rider, past shows and contact. Around it we built an industry directory of venues, studios, agencies and events, and an academy that explains royalties, splits and contracts in plain language, because most of us learned that part the hard way.
We are five people building this on equity, starting with the scene in Medellin and expanding across Latin America. Everything is free right now while we learn what artists actually need. Fair warning: the product is in Spanish, because our users are.
Two things I would love from you:
1. If you work in music, tell me what is missing from a press kit when it lands in your inbox.
2. If you are an artist, create a profile and try to break it. I want to know where it starts to feel like work.
Thank you for reading.
