Hi Product Hunt community! 👋 I’m thrilled to finally share GhostCase with you all. The idea for GhostCase came from a simple frustration: most "secure" file-sharing tools still require you to trust a third-party server with your data, or they force you to install clunky software. I wanted to build something that gives you total control without the overhead. What makes GhostCase different? Unlike traditional tools, GhostCase packages your files, an encryption engine, and a web-based decryptor into a single, standalone HTML file. Key Features: 100% Client-Side: Everything happens in your browser using Go-powered WebAssembly (Wasm). Your files never touch our servers. Standalone Vaults: The recipient only needs a web browser to unlock the file—no software to install, no accounts to create. Smart Locks: We’ve integrated server-side state verification for advanced security, like Time-Delay (prevent opening for X hours), Auto-Destruct (expiry dates), and One-Time Access (burn on read). Performance: Using OPFS (Origin Private File System) and Web Workers, it handles large files smoothly without freezing your tab.
