UBL is the international XML standard for invoices and business documents, used across Peppol networks in Europe, Australia, Singapore, and beyond. Most validators are technical CLI tools or enterprise integrations with a steep learning curve. GetUBL is the simple alternative: drop in a UBL XML file to validate it with plain-language errors, or generate a compliant invoice from a clean form. No signup, no friction. Just the format, made approachable for anyone working in cross-border B2B.

UBL is the format I see the most international demand for, and yet somehow it has the worst beginner-friendly tooling. The Peppol network spans most of Europe, Australia, Singapore, parts of the Middle East, and growing, but if you're not a developer integrating with a service provider, your options for just validating one UBL file are basically: pay an enterprise vendor, set up a Java toolchain, or give up.
I built GetUBL as the third option. Drop in your file, get a readable validation report. Fill in a form, get a compliant UBL XML. That's it.
The bigger picture: I run InvoiceXML, an API for European e-invoice formats aimed at developers. GetUBL is the consumer companion for people who don't want to touch an API. Same validation engine underneath, completely different surface.
If you work with Peppol or international UBL flows, I'd really value your feedback. UBL has so many national customization profiles that there are always more edge cases to handle, and the more real-world examples the tool sees, the better it gets.
